Quantity: | 1 |
The Rapido Trains HO Scale 35' Fruehauf Integral-Post Volume Van Trailer is based on semi trailers introduced in the mid 1950s for piggyback and trucking lines. As one of the earliest intermodal services, the Pennsylvania Railroad's "TrucTrain" was a pioneer in offering TOFC (Trailer On Flat Car) service, but many other railroads offered their own services. The Trailer Train Company (TTX) was formed in 1955 and quickly became the major player. Its cars run on railroads throughout North America. This model comes fully assembled and features a detailed, injection-molded body with or without side door as appropriate, fine decoration with multiple roadnumbers per scheme and realistic wheels and tires.
