Used on freight and passenger cars; as well as railroad, commercial and residential buildings. Many 19th- and early 20th-century structures had panels of V-Groove siding applied in horizontal, vertical and diagonal patterns, or in combination with clapboard and novelty siding for decorative effects. These opaque white sheets are pre-scribed to match different widths of lumber.
