A cuddly plush 'Philip' the Lansdale Fox toy.
Lansdale was named after Philip Lansdale Fox, chief surveyor for the North Penn Railroad. He was instrumental in deciding where the railroad would lay it's tracks. When it came time to decide a name for this newly developed junction town, the town leaders remembered the friendly surveyor from the railroad.
